Today we were visited by some very special guests. A troupe of Maasi Warriors came to the school and told us about their lives back home in Kenya. They sang songs, whistled, danced and performed some drama. They come to Britain each year to help raise money to help their families back home. It was fantastic to see their costumes which also acted like instruments as they moved. They showed us how they jump very high as a way of competing with other warriors. Some of the pupils and even teachers had a jumping contest with them. They have built a new school back home and enjoyed coming into our classes to see how we worked. We made a special donation to their charity. A fantastic time was had by all of us.
