Halloween Parade

Tuesday 31st October 2023.

Children can come to school dressed in costumes all day or bring costume with them into school to get changed. Staff and older children will be there to help younger children if required.

Parent Order Instructions

Your child has come home with their Parent Order card on Monday if they completed Christmas Artwork.

1. If you wish to order products with your child’s artwork please visit approve.myfundraisinghub.com, enter the codes supplied on your card and confirm your child’s name and class. Please note: the name and class that is entered will be what is printed on the products. 
2. Approve the artwork – or give feedback if there’s an issue that needs amending. 
3. Once the artwork has been unlocked you will be given a link to the online shop to place your order. 
4. Orders are online only. 
5. Orders will be processed after the order deadline.  
6. The online shop will close on Tuesday 31st October at 11:59pm. After this date orders can not be processed. Note this gives just 1 WEEK to order. 
    

Please hold onto your parent order card until you receive your items and are happy with your order as the company may need to confirm the unique assigned code associated with your child’s artwork.

Dear Parents/Carers,

Thank you to those who have signed up to Parents Portal.  This portal will become one of the main communications between schools and parents across North Lanarkshire Council and we encourage you to sign up to this service. It is a one stop shop to many of our current and future communications.

The portal has been and will continue to be developed to provide parents with a clear insight to their child’s education and to support transactional communications between parents and the school, this includes attendance, report cards and any general school information. Please note, end of the year reports will be accessed from this only.  

To sign up, please visit parentsportal.scot, attached is a quick guide to help.

When entering details, please make sure you enter the correct details exactly what we have on the school system for your child.  If you receive an error message, contact school office and we can assist you.
If you don’t have access to any online resources, please contact us so we can support you.

Young Persons’ Free Bus Travel

Dear Parents/Carers,

We look forward to welcoming you into school this Wednesday 4th October at 9.15am – 10.15am for our Primary 1 Phonics Lesson.

Mrs Gibbons and Mrs MacInnes (CLD Support Worker) will be leading this session and during this time there will be an opportunity for you to visit the Primary One classroom and observe your child participating in a phonics lesson.

Tea/Coffee will be provided and there will be an opportunity for Questions/Answers. You will also receive a free phonics pack to take with you to support Home Learning.
