Glorious sunshine today. This morning’s activities included skiing, canoeing and kayaking.
The 2nd Birthday Boy!
The Night Line
Day 2 continued….
The children all enjoyed the Night Line tonight and were sleeping very quickly at bed time.
We all sang Happy Birthday to Conor again at supper time and Kilbowie kitchen staff had made him a special birthday cake, which was big enough for everyone to have a piece.
The instructors have commented again at how wonderful our children are!!
I am delighted that so many parents are using the comments facility for this blog, and I am letting children know what you have all been saying.
Check back in tomorrow for more updates and pictures.
Day 2
It has been raining today but it hasn’t held any of us back!
Our children have done lots of activities today – some groups have done the ‘Safari’, some have hill-walked, some have been down to the gorge for a gorge walk, some have turned their hand at skiing and some have been out on canoes.
Because lots of these activities were water based, we couldn’t take the camera or the ipad with us on some of the activities for action shots, but the instructors have some great pictures on their water proof cameras and will give us all of these when we leave on Friday.
Please check back on this blog at the weekend and you will see all the photos that the instructors have taken during the week so far.
The children are currently filling in their Kilbowie log books before doing the ‘Night Line’ tonight.
Our children have done us VERY proud and the instructors here have commented all day on how well-mannered, well-behaved and enthusiastic they all are. One even said that he wished they could stay here every week as they are enjoying their company so much!
All the children are having a ball and I’m glad to say there have been no injuries so far! Long may that continue!
The Birthday Boy!
Strange Happenings!
Some of the pictures that were posted yesterday have disappeared!
Not quite sure how or why this is happening, but I’ll try to repost them and hopefully they will stay put this time.
