I wanted to come on today to post a link to something SO EXCITING!!!!!!!!!! As some of you may know J K Rowling published the first two chapters of her new book ‘The Ickabog’ yesterday. Each week she will publish 2 more chapters and in 6 weeks time, you will have the full book. I have read the first 2 chapters and it is fabulous. I can’t wait for the rest to be published.

J K Rowling has also started a competition related to the book. The book has no illustrations yet and she is challenging children to create the images that will go alongside her new fantastic novel. If you click this link:
It will take you to the competition. It has all of the rules and regulations and what is expected of you. I know we have fantastic artists in Room 14 so I think we would have some excellent images of the scenes in the chapters, the characters and the setting.
