Good morning Room 14!

Just a little reminder that Miss Rossetti is missing you all very much, missing all your wonderful stories and all of our exciting learning that goes on inside our classroom. I know you will all be enjoying these home activities and enjoying the sunshine and quality time with your family members whilst staying safe at home.

Here is your learning plan for today:

Numeracy – Please continue with your Sumdog challenges. These are live until Friday.

Literacy/Topic – STORY WRITING: Today I would like you to create a Narrative piece of writing about ‘My Day in Space’. You can use your knowledge you have learned so far from your planets research to include this in a very exciting, imaginative, funny and creative story about your experience in Space for a day. Remember our Narrative writing checklist – we must remember our normal writing rules such as capital letters, full stops, paragraphs, use a dictionary for the tricky words and try and make your story as detailed as you can. I can’t wait to read some of them!

The NASA website has lots of information about the daily routine in Space for Astronauts. Have a look here: https://www.nasa.gov/audience/foreducators/stem-on-station/dayinthelife

I also LOVED this video:

Have a wonderful day and hopefully Mr Sun will have his hat on shortly.

Stay safe,

Miss R x
