Nursery Routine
Please make sure that children come to nursery with suitable clothing and shoes for outdoor play. The children have access to outdoor play every day. It is vitally important that the children have their names on their shoes, sweat shirts and coats. It takes a long time to tie thirty pairs of shoe laces so when buying new shoes for the children, consider Velcro fastenings. Please keep a spare set of clothes in your child’s red nursery bad in case of messy activities or accidents. There is limited space in the cloakroom and we ask that no other bags are brought to nursery.
Changing shoes
We would also like to remind parents to change your child’s shoes before coming into nursery as we have just got a lovely new carpet and we don’t want it becoming dirty.
Halloween
Our Halloween party is on Friday 30th October and your child is invited to dress up for our party. We would like to welcome parents to come back, AM – 11.15am and PM – 3.15pm, to hear your child sing the Halloween songs they have been learning.
Special Treat
As a special treat for the children this month we are having the Zoo Lab coming in to our nursery on Tuesday 17th November and Magic Daze coming to our nursery on Friday 20th November.
Reminder
Could all children please have their pantomime forms returned as soon as possible please.
Parents Committee
We are looking for parent helpers from now until after Christmas to help with fundraising ideas, library visits and walks within the local community. The library visits will start on Monday 2nd November and we are looking for parent helpers to help us attend this visit. We would also like to know if any parents have or would like to have a PVG (disclosure) If you are interested could you please add your name to the list in the foyer.
