We had a really good day yesterday. The bus journey passed without event and we quickly got settled into the centre. Everyone got outside in the afternoon and worked up an appetite for dinner. We played a game on the grounds at night and everyone was ready for bed when the time came. Looking forward to our first full day of activities today.

As of 8:25we have staff arriving and the school is open as normal. Car park could well be difficult to drive in so please be careful!

Well what a busy time we have had over this festive period. Pantomime visits, school shows, Christmas parties, carol concerts and a church service.

School closes tomorrow at 2:30pm. Children can dress down for the day and are encouraged to wear something festive. I know many have been desperate to wear their Christmas jumpers.

We would like to wish all of our families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and we look forward to starting 2015 with you.

Our P4/5 class on behalf of all of our pupils made a card to thank our Parent Council for the sweets, crisps and juice they provided on the day of our trip to the pantomime.

GUESS THE BIRTHDAY FOR MR TWIZZLE

Mrs Hendry in Primary 3 will be running in the London Marathon 2015 for The National Autistic Society. In order to raise money for this worthwhile cause she has knitted a fun snowman called Mr Twizzle.

The children will have an opportunity over the next 2 weeks to guess a birthday date for Mr Twizzle. These dates wil go on sale from Monday 8^th December to Thursday 18^th December. The cost will be 50p.

The winner will be announced at our assembly on Friday 19^th December.

This year’s competition was launched at Friday’s assembly.

Our choir has been entered into a competition being run by The Regent Shopping Centre in Hamilton.
The choir with the most votes wins £500 for the school.
