P7a Assembly

On Friday P7a put on the first class assembly of the year all about smoking. In class they have been learning about the health and financial implications associated with smoking. Their overall message from the assembly was ‘Don’t Smoke Baby’ (to the tune of Vanilla Ice’s ‘Ice Ice Baby’).

Space Hoppers!

Our children are enjoying some good old fashioned fun today thanks to our Parent Council. They have funded today’s Space Hopper Activity through the company Micro Fit.

A big thank you to our Parent Council.

Samba

Three of our Primary 7 pupils were recently selected to played as part of a large samba band at North Lanarkshire Council’s Spring Concert. They performed to around 3,000 people.

Riccard Johnstone Area

 
 
 

At the end of February our Eco Committee were fortunate enough to get join a park ranger at the Riccard Johnstone Area or The Coby as it is more locally known.
Many of you will know that this area is in the middle of a large redevelopment.
Our Eco Committee’s visit gave us a sneak preview of the ways that we will be
able to us this area .Outdoor Education is a large part of our curriculum
and we are excited about the many different ways we will be able to use this
