Primary 1 – Our Sense of Sight

October 10, 2016 by Mrs Brown | 0 comments

This week Primary 1 were learning about their sense of sight by identifying the parts of the eye.  They really enjoyed changing the colour of the iris to match their own eye colour 🙂

Health and wellbeing in p3/2

September 9, 2016 by Mrs Lawrence | 0 comments

Today P3/2 were learning about the difference between feelings and behaviours. First we began by sharing how we were feeling by using our emoji charts that we made last week: IMG_1330 IMG_1331

We discussed and shared what makes us feel excited and how we feel if we do something wrong:Screen Shot 2016-09-09 at 20.23.32

Then we showed off our excited faces/body language followed by angry and disappointed. It was interesting to see all of the different expressions and body language we all used. IMG_1336 IMG_1337 IMG_1335 IMG_1347 IMG_1346 IMG_1351 IMG_1349 IMG_1339 IMG_1338 IMG_1345 IMG_1342 IMG_1343

Next we made up our own plays about making good and bad choices and how our choices effect our feelings

Finally, we shared our ideas about what we can do to make sure we feel happy, proud and confident! These are just some of our ideas:

  • Make good choices.
  • Do good things for people and help them.
  • Do things to make your mum and dad proud.
