🦋 Primary 1 had a super afternoon learning about how butterflies collect nectar! Butterflies have long tube like mouths, just like a straw (called a proboscis). The children had great fun pretending to be butterflies collecting nectar from their flower cups using their straws! 🦋👏🏻
One of our butterflies even gave us a little demonstration, to which one of our children announced “The butterfly is using its proboscis”! What clever butterflies and children we have in our class! 😊
