Choir Singing at Tesco
Our wonderful school choir sang a selection of festive songs at Tesco this morning and raised an amazing £223.30 for school fund!

Santa Visits Primary 1
A very special visitor came to Lawmuir this morning to visit the boys and girls from Primary 1! They were very surprised to see him! He had a small gift for everyone!
Whoops-a-daisy Angel Nativity Performance
Well done to all the Miss Burke, Miss Stewart and all the Primary 1 pupils who put on a fantastic nativity performance of Whoops-a-daisy Angel! It was fantastic as you can see from our photos!
What’s happening in Room 6!
This week Room 6 have been working hard to find out all about symmetry. We linked our Maths work to our Rainforest topic and made some stunning symmetrical butterflies for the canopy. We also created some Christmas Trees and tried our best to decorate them symmetrically.
On Tuesday we enjoyed an afternoon of Pantomime and as a class we are working hard to ensure that our names are regularly moving up on the Colour – o – meter.
Even though it is nearly the holidays the children we have continued to practise our literacy skills daily. Today using whiteboards, the four children pictured used their initiative and started practising other spelling from around the classroom. Well done, Santa will be super impressed!
