Parents Night!

Last night Parents, Carers and Pupils came to school for interviews with teachers. The Bookfair was also very busy as pupils and their families visited to buy a new book. Fairtrade goodies were also available, the chocolate bars were very popular.

Children In Need – Dance-a-thon!

Today is the day! Remember you ‘dancing shoes’ to take part in the Lawmuir Children In Need Dance-a-thon!

Primary 7 will lead classes in a range of classic dances including the Cha Cha Slide, the Slosh and the Time Warp! Have fun!

Room 2 had a great time making delicious smoothies as part of the fun activities for Children In Need. They chopped the fruit, added milk and juice and of course most importantly tasted the finished product!

Play & Arts Festival

Today, Rooms 6, 12 & 13 will spend the morning at North Lanarkshire Council’s Play & Arts Festival at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility. Pupils will take part in lots of fun activities and games. We hope you have a lot of fun!!

Remember to wear your P.E. kit and bring a water bottle with you to keep you hydrated.

Children In Need – Update

Boys and Girls will continue to take part in Pudsey’s Assault Course in the gym hall. Remember to bring your P.E. Kit.

Classes will also be making and tasting a balanced snack. So far, classes have made Blueberry Pancakes and Fruit Smoothies! Yum!

Dance-a-thon – Thursday

Classes will be taking part in our Dance-a-thon for Children In Need. Primary Seven pupils have been working hard learning popular dances and will be on hand on Thursday to lead the Dance-a-thon for your class. It’s bound to be great fun!

Be Sporty – Friday

On Friday we will be having a non-uniform day for Children In Need. Pupils and staff are invited to come dressed as their favorite sports personality. I wonder what famous faces from the world of sport we will see at Lawmuir?
