Ghost Walk

Mark told us some quite scary ghost stories and at the end we got to make a wish on his walking stick. It was such good fun, however, we have walked miles today and are pretty exhausted. We are back on the coach heading to the hotel for dinner

; lasagne, macaroni cheese, garlic bread and wedges or baked potatoes with salads. All home made!

Questions and comment’s responses

Whilst I have time, as someone else more experienced than me with chocolate, is talking to the children!

Lauren has been hiding in the pictures but I caught her unawares.

ALL girls were up out of bed at 7.00 oclock this morning, beds made, rooms tidied and half of them showered before breakfast at 7.30. It only took one wake up call! All boys were up around 6.00am, half showered, beds made, rooms tidied and had a game of football before breakfast at 7.30! Therefore we shouldn’t have any Primary 6’s late for school in future, unless of course parents sleep in.!

Railway Museum 2

We all had a ride on the miniature train and then walked up to the Minster park where we had our lunch sitting on the grass in the sunshine. We had a little bit of time to do a whirlwind visit inside the Minster. Whilst waiting for our tours of The Chocolate Story we had a delicious ice cream, thanks to the PTA. Now enjoying our time inside  the Chocolate Story.

Beamish

After midnight and I am still having trouble with the photos from Beamish. I will try again tomorrow. The weather here is just great and the forecast looks like it will be even better the rest of the week. We are so lucky.

I can take pictures of each meal so that you know what they have eaten when they are home! Early rise tomorrow at 7.00 for breakfast at 7.30 as we need to be in York for 10.00. Will pop a post on in the morning to let you know how the night has gone.

Glad to see all the senior pupils working hard today, a little bit of muscle power works well. I am looking forward to seeing it all next week. Primary 2s and P4/5 and 5 I hope you all have great days tomorrow out on your trips.  Continue reading “Beamish”

Late night post

all settled, no tears or upsets. Lots and lots of walking today and lots of very tired children. Stuart and Mags made a fantastic 3 course roast chicken dinner which was devoured by hungry children. We had a late night walk on the beach and took some very dark pictures. Hope you can make out all the faces.

Dinner time

Just had a fabulous dinner, all very full tummies. Heading out to the beach soon in the beautiful sunshine. Sorry if you are not having such good weather there. I will post photos from Beamish later as we had an iPad malfunction which is not rectified. I have photos on another iPad.
