House Event

On Wednesday we had a whole school House Event with a variety of competition events for P1’s to P7’s. The House Captains and Vice Captains helped each of the teams with their challenges including building the tallest Lego tower and making letters out of Playdoh. P 5’s had the hardest job I think having to do the most star jumps in 1 minute!

On our way

Left Gretna 20

minutes ago. Due in Chapelhall about 7.30 pm. All had chips and juice at Burger King, not quite our usual three course dinner. Photos below speak volumes of being nearly home! Will post again if running late.

Your children are a credit to all of you (parents) and a shining representative of Chapelhall Primary School. They have received compliments and praise everywhere this week and have been a joy to spend time with and have fun with. We have had NO behaviour or even attitude issues and not even one fall out between friends. Everyone has just embraced the experience and had fun. I speak for all staff here when I say we have loved the last four days and it has been fabulous having your 300 comments to share with the children. I will get pen drives made up for everyone with a copy of all the photos we have taken. See you all soon.

Old Trafford

We have left Old Trafford and heading home. Planning to stop at Gretna on the way. Depending on traffic maybe 7.00-7.30 pm . I will post when leaving Gretna. Good news-DVD is working on the bus😀😀😀😀😀 Five happy teachers.

Wee update

P6’s are currently enjoying the tour at Old Trafford but unfortunately there is no Wifi available. They plan to leave at about 3pm to start heading home. An update will be posted again later letting To know when to expect them to arrive home.

Mrs Brown

PS I was asked by Mrs Leggatt to let you know that all children are feeling much better:)

Last late night post from Scarborough

Last night whew! All asleep half an hour ago with their suitcases all packed by themselves. Goodness knows what they will be like when you open them up. Lots of very happy, tired, sun kissed children coming home tomorrow. It has been such a great day today, couldn’t believe how lucky we have been with the weather and today was the best of all. flamingoland stayed open later than expected today so we just had more fun on the rides to make the most of it and had to cancel the bowling tonight as we couldn’t make it on time. Bowling or Flamingoland? No competition. We did go to the amusement arcade though and quite a few expert gamblers about! We also had fun playing on the sand in the dark. A very early start tomorrow-wake up call at 6.30, breakfast 7.00, leaving about 8.00, Old Trafford tour, workshop starts at 12.00. I expect to be leaving Old Trafford about 3.00 and will keep you updated here on the way. I am expecting weekend traffic out of Manchester especially if the weather is good so might be later home.

We are all loving your comments, I have been reading them out on the bus and it is taking me longer each day. Great to know you are enjoying the trip with the children and they love hearing from you too.

Tidy bedrooms

We can all now make our beds in the mowning. Every day is a school day! In Flamingoland  now and very excited. Been on Cliffhanger, Mumbo Jumbo , Kumali, Velocity, Hero and lots of others too. Will post photos of Mrs Murray, Mrs Cameron and Mrs McGuire on them later.

Last Post for tonight

11.10pm and all is quiet, not a creature was stirring not even a Primary 6 pupil! Hopefully all the ghosts will stay away too. we have had a few knocking on walls and things 🙂 Looking forward to another beautiful day tomorrow. The children (and adults) are loving the comments on the blog, I know it takes time to approve them for you but it is worth it.  I am reading them out on the bus whilst travelling so they all get to hear. If you notice any children missed out could you please pass on  to their parents? Thank you for all your kind comments too.

Josh – no sunburn, had loads of cream on all day.

Eddie – has found his t-shirts!

Rachel IS here and will make sure she is in more pictures tomorrow.

ALL  beds were made this morning, planning to take photos tomorrow as the iPad is also exhausted tonight and battery has died. That may give you some evidence of what can be done,

i am not sure who the chocolate was for today but there was lots of it on the bus.
