All slept well last night. Outside for some fresh air before breakfast and heading to York- Jorvik Centre, ghost walk and Castle Museum today then Military Adventure Park tonight. Will keep you posted when we can..

All arrived safely, had dinner and unpacked. Everyone is happy with their rooms, all children sharing with their first or second choice of friend. We went for a walk down to the front and round and back up the cliffside. It eventually started to get a little quieter further up the hill. I really don’t know what everyone had to talk about. We are now all in bed  asleep and looking forward to York tomorrow. Keep you posted when we can. No worries from anyone just happy faces and excited faces all round.

We went back to school for a while! Played with some of the toys outside, visited the old train station, had a couple of rides on tramcars, had lunch and some ice cream to cool us down as the sun is still shining. All quiet watching a DVD on the bus.

We were out in the sunshine this morning checking out our brand new seating in our Wigloo.  We are looking forward to working with our pupils in this brand new environment.

All happy smiling children. Sun is still shining. Next stop Beamish.

Today is our Open Day where parents and friends are invited to our classes to see our work. Please come along to school between 2.00 o’clock and 3 o’clock. Leave a comment about it if you came along.

We took part in the Airdrie Schools Cup this year with an excellent performance from the boys and girls involved.  Mr Murray and Miss Kennedy were very proud of the team who work cooperatively, showed good sportsmanship and didn’t lose any games.

Well done.

Today we welcomed our new P1 pupils who will be joining us in August.  They came with members of their family to try some of the activities that they will be doing when they start school next session.  They all had great fun and are looking forward to being part of Chapelhall Primary School.

Here are some pictures of the hotel and the football park and play park in front. Might even be time for a game before breakfast boys! Need to remember the footballs. The hotel looked good when I popped in to say “hello.”

Counting down the weeks now until we go. Less than five weeks to go. I have started to think about the clothes I am taking and watching the weather forecasts getting better. I did order sunshine so remember your sun cream. I still need some medical forms back in to school so check to see if you have handed yours in. I am heading to Scarborough tomorrow for a few days and will check out the hotel etc whilst there. I will post some pictures so keep checking in. Here is the website if you haven’t had a look yet.
