Congratulations to all the pupils who took part in various activities over the Easter holidays. They shared their achievements with us at assembly today. What a talented bunch of pupils we have!

P4 Cleanup
After their Learning Assessment Scavenger Hunt today, the P4 pupils decided to start cleaning up some of the mess made in Honeywell Habitats over the holidays.
P6 Peer Mediation Training
This week and next, all P6 pupils will be trained in Peer Mediation. This is a programme designed to equip them with the skills needed to diffuse low level situations that occur between pupils in school. They had great fun today completing their first day of training which included lots of listening, roleplay and various games.
Mr McMahon Memorial
We have started organising a memorial for Mr McMahon in our school grounds. We are creating an area next to our ‘butterfly benches’ with a new bench and some flowers and shrubs around it. This will be a quiet place where we can sit and enjoy being outside. You can have a sneak peak at the bench on the photos below but we will be having an official opening once the area is completed very soon.
Greenhouse Vandalism
We hope everyone had a great holiday and is nice and refreshed for our final term. However, we came back to day to some unfortunate news. Our bottle greenhouse that the whole community at worked had on collecting bottles for has been destroyed over the holidays. It’s such a shame to see all our hard work go to waste and have people spoil all our efforts. We will need to start a clear up this week and perhaps think about a possible rebuild.
Gymnastics Update
Competition is now finished. The girls all performed extremely well. There were another 24 teams at our level and some were very good. Unfortunately we did not win a team medal, however we did get a silver medal for the individual overall score. It was also very close for gold and we are very proud. Well done to all 5 girls, Abbie, Leah, Rachel, Regan and Rebecca I am so pleased that we took part even if it was a very long day.
Gymnastics
We are all here at Perth waiting for our turn to compete. The girls are well prepared and their outfits look super. Hair has been pleated, glittered and pampered and it is just a waiting game now. We wish them all the best of luck there are many more competitors here than there were at Ravenscraig though I am sure they will be stars in any form.
Bottle Greenhouse
Well we are almost there with our greenhouse. We just have a few bottles to attach to the roof and we’ll be ready to start using it.
