Apologies

Please be patient with us on the blog. A member of staff needs to authorise all comments for appropriate language before it appears. We get an enormous amount of spam and comments that we wouldn’t want to publish. There are quite a few of us trying to publish and post but we need good internet access especially for pictures.

Flamingoland

Already been on all the biggies over and over. Lots of littles too. Will try to post pics after this. Just to let any worrying mums know that any sore tummies or legs have magically disappeared. Excitement, adrenalin and blood levels are all high. Going for lunch soon and then a sedate walk around the zoo to let lunch go down and hopefully stay there! Dry so far but cloudy.

Any pictures I post will have our children in them somewhere!!

Sorry!

Sorry in my haste to get the last of the photos on I have doubled up on a few. I am really trying to include everyone in the pictures but some are more allusive than others! It is nearly 11pm and everyone is now asleep tonight, I will be soon too! The hotel owners have been very good with all the children and food choices have been excellent for all meals.

Miss Wiggins and Miss Moore enjoyed the play park just across from our hotel too and are along with Miss McFadyen looking forward to ALL the rides tomorrow. Mrs Robertson and I are looking forward to watching the bags and hats!

I will pass on all your latest comments in the morning at breakfast, sorry I didn’t get round everyone tonight but it is a little tricky having 36 for a sleepover. It is great to see so many commenting and we know you are enjoying all the fun just as much as we are

goodnight, Mrs Leggatt and co.

York update

Hi everyone. We are now back on the busy after a very busy and tiring day in York. Our/your children have received compliments today on their behaviour. Very impressed with everyone. A few blog replies- “breakfast was nearly as good as mum’s,the scooter wouldn’t fit in the bus and we have spent lots of money on presents.”

Tonight we planned to walk down into Scarborough but the weather doesn’t look too favourable and we are all very tired so that plan may change. Here’s hoping for a dry day tomorrow in Flamingoland.

Keep the comments coming as the children as loving reading them and keeping in touch with brothers, sisters and parents. I will keep trying to update as often as possible.

Bags2School

Hi Everyone
Just a reminder that we have a Bags2School collection tomorrow. Any old clothes, shoes, soft toys etc can be brought to school and left in the staff car park at the entrance gate. If you have lost the bag don’t worry, just pop it in a bin bag and drop it off. This is a great chance for you to have a wee clear out!

Thanks
