We ALL slept really well last night, most still asleep at 7.00 when wakened. Everyone is feeling so much better today and we have a glorious weather forecast for the whole day. Here are some stunning pictures from outside our hotel, the location is just perfect. The boys are making their way down the path to play football, great exercise before breakfast, maybe that’s the way to get them ready for school in the morning? Will post some bedroom pics after breakfast. Hopefully tidy, they have been warned.

All quiet, lights out and nearly asleep, not sure about the children! Only kiddin, we can’t believe how easily and happily they all have gone to bed tonight, even the few who were wobbling a little. It’s only 10.40!!!

All happily chatting about the fun for tomorrow and thinking happy thoughts going to sleep.

Night night

Having a Jammies and DVD night after our busy day. Lots of tired children (and adults). Planning an earlier night tonight to rest a little before a fully energetic day tomorrow.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments, it’s good to know you are also enjoying the blog too. Children are loving it all.

The new owners of the hotel have been fabulous, making the holiday even better for the children.

Mrs Brown,  we did let everyone out of jail, I think. Hopefully you should be able to find them all here, or we need to run back to York!

Great dinner again tonight, home made soups going down really well. Parents recipes can be provided. It is also amazing how all your children can make their beds, tidy their rooms, drink lots of water, get up and showered early in the morning without being told over a

nd over. However slightly worrying how many times they need to be told to remember their bags, put their waterproof jackets on, or even bring them out with them. Luckily Amy could tell Lewis where mum put his, Nathan’s was in his bag and he took off his wet sweatshirt and changed when I noticed, some even miraculo

usly found them when told they couldn’t come without one.

Even with forty of them these are minor issues and really everyone is doing well. Quite a few tired bodies tonight, some went out to the park after dinner but some stayed in. Here are the park pictures.

Previous visitors to York may remember the goslings at the coach park. Others may recognise some of the museum pieces from not that long ago,

It has been a really wet day today and we have all been soaked then dry then soaked again. Not sure that the ipad likes the rain so haven’t had a chance to get many pictures on. Working on it at the moment whilst on the way back to the hotel for dinner. Will be as quick as wifi signal possible.

Children have all had another good day despite the rain.

The P.6 children had a great time in school today as they worked with the Play Rangers. They made dens, played games and built water tracks that carried water from one place to another. They had to work as a team and they did a great job.

Just spent fifteen minutes reading out all your comments, children are loving hearing from everyone and knowing that you are all enjoying their adventures.

Thank you for keeping everything positive and loving hearing that Emma has a new little cousin.
