LAST one
We have just left Gretna services, bought out the Crispy Creme! Maybe that should have been a surprise 🙂 should be home about 6.00pm traffic dependent.
We (staff and helpers) would like to say a great big thank you to all the parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles,,brothers, sisters, cats, dogs, rabbits… who have commented this week. It has been a super week and your children have been amazing and a credit to all of you. We rarely had to reprimand any behaviour, only a few volume buttons! They have been the biggest group away so far from Chapelhall on this trip and absolutely the easiest. They have been praised everywhere we have gone and it has been a joy for us to share their experience. We are so grateful for all your thanks and it has made the trip very rewarding. Thank you.
see you shortly

A great day at Calderglen Country Park
We had a fantastic day at the park. We managed to walk the yellow trail. On the way we looked at how to calculate the age of a tree, we identified different types of trees in the park by looking at the leaves AND we managed to find EVERYTHING required to complete our Scavenger Hunt. Phew!!!!! The playpark was fun and the small zoo was excellent. Fun had by all. The end of a great week.

NUFC
Just leaving Newcastle now and eta at Chapelhall is 6.00pm approximately. I will post again when closer, plan to stop again at Gretna all being well.
We recieved some very positive comments for Chapelhall Primary children’s behaviour. Great ambassadors and would be welcomed back anytime.
Homeward bound
Morning all. Lots of sleepy heads this morning. We are just over an hour away from Newcastle and making good time so far. I spent ages reading out all your comments this morning after we left the hotel. Â Thank you again it has been great.
I know that I said the children were all packed last night, however, on closer inspection this morning Miss Wiggins had to step in, or maybe jump in! We still have a Minecraft t shirt and an a bag of embarrassingly unclaimed underwear of the male variety! All rooms have been checked so if you have any items missing tonight please check with others in their room.
ALL children can now remove all the covers on their beds, just incase you need some help at home 🙂
i will post some pictures later and keep you updated re times after Newcastle.
Ice creams at the beach at night
Thank you to the PTA for our ice creams tonight.
Had fun at the bowling then spent money on the amusements, Mrs Robertson won a prize. That tiny Minion! Spent so much trying she could have bought a huge one!
Layla was the champion bowler overall with the highest score, just beating Ellie By a whisker. Go girls!
Had a beach walk in the dark tonight then walked a long road round the headland which quietened some of us down. Would have liked to be able to post some volume levels on the blog tonight to let you all hear how noisy they were! Walking, walking and more walking has done the trick. All now in bed asleep having packed their own suitcases! I will check rooms in the morning!
Great to hear so many grandparents now becoming experienced bloggers we have so many other pages to look at too. Keep it up.
Night all.
