Our first dress down day will be Friday 9th October and the children can choose the theme. You have until Monday morning to vote for your favourite theme. You can choose between Crazy Hair, Wear A Colour or Pyjama Day. Write your choice as a comment on this post and the pupil council will count the votes on Monday and let everyone know the winner. Just to let everyone know P.1/2 are now called P.1b. We are still working just as hard and having so much fun!
Ravenscraig Sevens
Primary 7 children took part in a friendly football festival at the Ravenscraig Sports Centre. They competed against other Cofely PPP schools. It was a enjoyable morning in a fantastic venue. The football team posed for a Joint Campus photo with St Aloysius Primary. Each child received a keepsake medal and a water bottle.
The Airdrie Schools’ Cup 2014
The Airdrie Schools’ Cup is the oldest school football tournament in the world beginning in 1886. The boys from stages 6 and 7 enjoyed taking part in the friendly football festival. The Chapelhall team were very successful, suffering only one defeat out of roughly 12 games. The boys also listened to a short presentation about the history of The Airdrie Schools’ Cup and worked together to complete a quiz. Each boy was presented with a medal and had the change to meet the Airdrie mascot, Rocky the Rooster!
