Kilbowie Wednesday

Everyone had a super sleep last night and are already out on their first activity for the day. There are groups Gorge Walking, Mountain Biking, Climbing, Canoeing, Sailing, Skiing and Tree Climbing. A busy time! Everyone is having a fantastic time and the sunny weather is meaning we can spend a lot of our time out on the water which is wonderful. The children are delighted with so many messages coming in, including from the children in the school too (thanks P1a!). Bye for now:)

Kilbowie Tuesday

Morning everyone, the sun is shining again and because of the great weather many of us will be out on the water today, Mrs Brown included. One group is even combining canoeing and orienteering! We also have groups rock climbing and skiing and 2 groups are out on Safari along with Mrs Yeneka. Miss Hendrie is also having a great time today out gorge walking! I’m sure we will be ready for bed tonight! Thanks for those who have sent us messages, we really enjoy hearing from you:)

Kilbowie

We have arrived in Kilbowie to beautiful sunny weather. As you can see we had a quick stop at the Green Welly, which Clyde our Mascot, really enjoyed then it was straight to the centre. Once we had a bit of lunch we got our kit and for many of us we headed out to canoeing, rock pooling and lots of us even jumped into the sea and I am assured it is really cold!! Tonight we are having some activities and the all important tuck shop. We are looking forward to helping Josh celebrate his birthday with some cake later too! Then off to bed??? Hope fully for some sleep!

P.5 Football Festival

A selection of boys from the P.5 year group braved the cold on Wednesday to take part in a football festival at St Margaret’s High School in Airdrie. The team competed against 4 other teams. We won two games and lost two, but everyone enjoyed themselves, even though it was freezing! We even had time to cheer on Team St Aloysius, as they were playing while Team Chapelhall were resting. This showed good team spirit, well done boys!

Carol singing

P7 and P7/6 had a super time Carol Singing in Morrison’s in Airdrie yesterday. They managed to raise a fantastic £170 for St Andrew’s Hospice and entertained the shoppers with lovely renditions of ‘Away in a Manger’, ‘We Wish you a Merry Christmas’ and ‘Mary’s Boy Child’. Thanks to the parents and friends who visited to give us lots of encouragement!
