We have started organising a memorial for Mr McMahon in our school grounds. We are creating an area next to our ‘butterfly benches’ with a new bench and some flowers and shrubs around it. This will be a quiet place where we can sit and enjoy being outside. You can have a sneak peak at the bench on the photos below but we will be having an official opening once the area is completed very soon.
As it was a lovely day today, P3/4 had their PE lesson on the astroturf. Before we went back indoors, we all had a wee seat on Mr McMahon’s bench (taking it in turns), read his memorial plaque and reminisced about our memories of him.
