Our Primary 1 children, due to start in August, came along to their first play session in school today. There were two groups, one in the morning and another one in the afternoon. Mrs Graham and Mrs Heron were very pleased with everyone. They listened to the Monkey Puzzle story and then tried very hard to do some writing and colouring.
The next transition event is next Wednesday 27th April from 3.30 till 4.30 where children and parents can go to a few workshops and hear about all the work and fun in Primary 1. Looking forward to seeing everyone then.
It was lovely having the children who will be starting with us in August have their first play session today. We have a full transition programme to help the children and their families become familiar with the school, the staff and what school is like. It is lovely to welcome you all and look forward to getting to know you all better over the next few weeks.
