The changes to lunchtimes are going very smoothly and the children have adapted very well. It now means that the dinner hall is less crowded and more relaxed. Children are able to sit comfortably with their friends and it is a much more sociable experience. We are trying to encourage good habits i.e., walking, recycling waste appropriately, good manners, talking quietly, etc. The House Captains and Vice Captains are helping us to monitor this and are setting up a ‘Super Table’ on a Friday where children will be invited as a reward for this behaviour. The table will be suitable for packed lunches and school dinners, watch here for some photographs soon.
