More Kilbowie photos and homework task

Hello again everyone! I am sure you have slept well over the last 2 days. I hope you enjoy a few more photos. There will be more on display at our Open Evening this week but this will keep you all going until then.

The Homework task to be completed by Friday is in 2 parts:

1. What 3 words would you use to describe your experience at Kilbowie. (Challenge yourself to try to come up with words that others haven’t used)

2. Write a paragraph about one ‘moment’ which stands out for you. (For me it was jumping off the rock during Gorge Walking!) Try to explain what happened but more importantly describe how you felt before, during and after your special moment. Then describe what you learned from being at Kilbowie. If you can post your thoughts on this blog, if not write it in your homework jotter. I look forward to reading about all your experiences.

    Amazing,adventures and fun
My favourite part of killbowie was when we went gorge walking and my favourite part was when me Kyle Steven Cerys Grant and Lewis all jumped in the water off the rocks we all jumped and made a shape in the air and made and enormous splash! I felt very excited before going gorge walking and very cold during it I learned that you meet new friends and try different things. ☺️

  2. 1.Fantastic,fun,adventurous.
2.My favourite part of Kilbowie was when my group went kayaking because I was on a 2 seater one with Lauren Kane and we had to practise falling into the water in-case we really did fall in! When we did practice our kayak was floating away with the waves so me and Lauren had to try and swim to it. It was so funny! I had fun when I jumped in off the rocks (I never thought I would have done that).
I also enjoyed meeting new friends from different schools, I now still talk to the girls I met from Petersburn.

    awesome,cool,excelant and great fun
my favourite part of kilbowie was when we got to go on the kayaks and jump in the water. what i liked best about that activity was when we got a chance to go down the slide in the kayaks. i also liked at that activity jumping of the jetty it was awesome fun.before going i just couldn\’t wait to get wet and i was really excited and during it i felt freezing cold. what i learned at kilbowie is that you make lots of new friends and that you get to try thing that you probely thought you would never really get a chance of trying.i also learned that at kilbowie you do things like rock climing that when you heard it you were scared to do it and you actually give it a go and are able to do it and i also learned that at kilbowie you get a bit more confident than what you were before going to kilbowie.i really enjoyed kilbowie and would love to do some of they activities again. πŸ™‚

    2. My Favourite part of kilbowie was when my group went kayaking. It was really hard but it was really fun at the same time . We had to kayak all the way over to island Kerrer and I was one of the first people there then we took a walk up to the top and it was an amazing view .Next we walked back to the kayaks and kayaked over to island heather wear we juped of the clifs (I jumped in so many times I lost count ) . After that we swam round to the other side of the rocks , got your kayaks and kayaked back BUT on the way back I capsized in the middle of the ocen so Bob (AKA – Adam ) helped me back up and Cammeryn and Lauren Kane were shouting ” Hurry up Chesca ” . Finally I kayaked back and capsized again at the edge of Kilbowie and had I wee swim about till I was told to come back in . That was one of the best moment and I’ll remember it forever :p πŸ™‚

My favourite part of Kilbowie was when we went gorge walking (I practically stayed in the water the whole time). It was getting kind of hard especially when my wellies were full of water and wouldn’t empty! Anyway we got up to this huge waterfall and I climbed up slippery rocks and jumped through the waterfall. We also came to a big rock which we all jumped of right into the water. Everyone felt freezing except from me! I almost slipped a few times onto rocks but managed to stand still on them. xxx
