We had a fantastic day at the park. We managed to walk the yellow trail. On the way we looked at how to calculate the age of a tree, we identified different types of trees in the park by looking at the leaves AND we managed to find EVERYTHING required to complete our Scavenger Hunt. Phew!!!!! The playpark was fun and the small zoo was excellent. Fun had by all. The end of a great week.

It has been a busy, wet, muddy but fun filled week for the P6/7 group. Tent building in side-ways rain should now be a national sport (thanks Scouts) and the outdoors day with the Play Leader team was a great success with all the children enjoying getting soaked!!! Deliberately! Today Miss Hendrie organised a busy day at Calderglen Park with a hike, scavenger hunt and lots of other fun things which ended a great week of team-building, creativity, learning about our environment and most of all fun! Thanks to the children for working well together and Miss Hendrie for being a good sport , getting just as wet as the children!
