Everyone had a good day even though there were no medals. Well done to all the parents who went along today.

The children are all really excited and ready to perform. First stage is over with floor routine. All performed very well indeed and raring to go for the vault.

Well done to all our new Golden Book winners.   All pupils worked really hard to get their names in the book.

Our P3/4 class welcomed parents and grandparents this afternoon to join in their Daffodil tea. The children performed poems and a song about spring and sold Daffodils and Easter chocolates. All money raised this afternoon will go to Marie Curie Cancer Research. Thank you to everyone who supported the pupils and well done to P3/4 and Miss Taylor.

The dinner hall was swaying to the sound of a Zumba class this morning. Lots of fun for P1/2

Well done to our dancers the ‘Hip Hop Waines’ who finished 2nd place in the Airdrie Dance Together competition! The group performed a hip hop dance with a Scottish twist. We are delighted that we will be dancing again at the finals in May.

Congratulations, you were absolute superstars and I am so proud of you all!

We had a super time at the Airdrie Football Festival on Friday. The team played well together and although it was cold and windy (due to the solar eclipse, not that we could see it!) everyone had great fun.

Our House Captains and Vice Captains organise, set up and clear away the Super Table each Friday, inviting children with good manners, being kind and helpful and behaving responsibly. The table is set with table covers, candles,decorations, place cards, jugs of juice and the most important Haribos. The children even get to skip the lunch queue and are served first. Here is today’s Super Table.

Today is International Day of Happiness and we were celebrating, along with St. Andrew’s Hospice, to raise awareness of it. We all wrote out a Happiness certificate and our photos of these have all been sent to the Hospice. We plan to display some of these in school as well. In assembly today we talked about ways to spread Happiness by being friendly and playing with each other. We all enjoyed played the game – rock, paper, scissors here are some of the pictures.
