The Bog Garden

After a long wait we have eventually managed to source plants for the school bog garden. The men at Dobbies were very helpful and gave us lots of information on the garden. It was a huge task for the children but they planned the garden on paper and discussed best place to position the plants. As you can see, lots of hard work was involved and the children had an absolute ball. Have a look at the photos and see what you think!

  1. The bog garden looks fantastic! It has been a huge amount of work over a long period of time but it is definitely worth it! Many thanks to Mrs Horner, Mr Murray and Mrs Leggatt who have put lots of effort in to this project along with P5. The whole campus will enjoy this new area in Honeywell Habitats but I think the bugs and other creatures will love it even more! Well done everyone! Very proud of you all.

  2. Thank you for inviting me to plant the garden with you last week , I had a great time and it inspired me to work really hard in my own garden this weekend. I just wish some of you had been around to help me, especially Jack Fraser who would have planted all my new plants in half the time it took me. I look forward to seeing the garden develop and flourish as it grows.
