Primary 4 have released their butterflies into the wild after watching them change from caterpillars to chrysalises to butterflies. They flew off happily on a glorious sunny day 🙂

Author Visit
The pupils from Primary 1 – Primary 4 enjoyed a visit from authors McNicol and Jackson. Badger, the Mystical Mutt, also put in an appearance, much to the excitement of the children. Many of the pupils are now the proud owners of signed copies of the Badger books.
Parrots!
Primary 4 had great fun making parrots with Miss Kennedy, although most children thought they looked more like Angry Birds than parrots!!
Bug Boxes
We now have two bug boxes for our Eco Garden. We hope they will attract lots of insects and bees.
Tiling Patterns – Primary 4B
Primary 4B have been learning about 2d shapes and tiling during their maths lessons. Here are some of the designs they have made.
Primary 3/4 visit P4!
Primary 3/4 visited Primary 4 to tell them all about their trip to Stirling Castle. The P3/4’s enjoyed sharing their experiences and the P4’s were attentive listeners.
Primary 4’s Raffle Winner
Jack, from P1/2, was the lucky winner of the cuddly giraffe in Primary 4’s raffle. Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket. The money went towards paying for the class’s Zoolab visit.
Disco – Thursday 14th May
A “Shorts and Shades” disco was held at the school on Thursday evening and there were some very bright and colourful outfits, as well as some trendy shades! The children had a great time dancing the night away!
Taste Test – Primary 4
As part of their Five Senses theme, Primary 4 carried out a test to see which combinations of tastes they liked. As you can tell by their facial expressions, some children were not impressed!!!
ECO GARDEN
Each class in the school will be allocated a raised bed in the Eco garden. Some of the children in Primary 4 have been busy painting signs for each of the classes.
