High Five for Fruit Newsletter

You may be aware that our fruit is delivered by High Five for Fruit.  Each month they send us a Newsletter which is displayed on our parents wall.  This month’s edition has some ‘Summer Smoothie Recipes’.  Smoothies have been very popular at snack time recently and some children have asked for the recipes. 

Kiwi Delight

What you need

3 kiwi fruit, a handful of mixed berries (fresh or frozen), plain, vanilla or berry yoghurt and 1/2cup/125ml of pineapple juice.  Blend until smooth.

High Five Surprise

A handful of strawberries (fresh or frozen), 1/2cup/125ml pineapple chunks (fresh or tinned), vanilla yoghurt, 1/2cup/125ml orange juice.  Blend until smooth.

Tropical Treat

2 banannas, 2 peach (fresh or tinned), 2 Satsuma or tangerines, 1/2cup/125ml orange juice.  Blend until smooth.
