Remember, remember the 5th of November. To mark bonfire night we had our own bonfire/campfire at nursery. We sang and ate our snack at the campfire and even toasted marshmallows. We discussed the dangers of fires and even had our own fire marshals keeping us safe.

Traditional Tales Party PM
Wow, look at the fun we had this afternoon at our fancy dress party.
Traditional Tales Party
We are having a fantastic time at our fancy dress party this morning.
Here are some photographs of our wonderful boys and girls.
Diwali
Diwali is the Hindu festival of light.
The children have been creating Diwali cards and Divas; a traditional candle holder as well as using coloured powder outside to create rangoli patterns. We had Indian style snacks and listened to the story of Rama and Sita.
You can watch one version of the story here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/lets-celebrate/stories/lets-celebrate-diwaliperformance
In the photographs you will see some of the children recreating the story and walking through the Diva lights.
Welcome Back
After the changes behind the scene, we are happy to be back online.
Today we are learning about the celebration of Diwali. We will upload some photographs from our day soon.
