We will also start selling raffle tickets for our St. Andrew’s Day hampers. We need volunteers to help us sell these at the start and end of the session. If you are available just speak to a member of staff.

Monday 24th: Today is the day for the morning Hedgehogs to go to the library. For this to happen we still need some volunteers. REMEMBER you don’t need to go with your child’s group, so if you are free and willing to help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thursday 27th: Today is the day for the afternoon Hedgehogs to visit the library. We still need volunteers for the visit to take place.

Flapjack Recipe.

Here is the flapjack recipe we use at the nursery.

150g Oats
90g Margarine
90g Demerara Sugar.

Add 1 tablespoon full of syrup or honey if you wish.

Mix well and place in a small tray approx. half an inch deep.

Bake at 220 degrees centigrade for about 10 minutes until the flapjack is golden brown.

GOOD LUCK! 🙂

Hedgehog Library Visit

The ‘AM’ Hedgehogs will be going to the library on Monday 24th November and the ‘PM’ Hedgehogs on Thursday 27th November.

We require volunteers to be able to go on these visits. If you are able to come with us, please write your name on our sign up sheets in the nursery cloakroom. Thanks.

5th November

Remember, remember the 5th of November. To mark bonfire night we had our own bonfire/campfire at nursery. We sang and ate our snack at the campfire and even toasted marshmallows. We discussed the dangers of fires and even had our own fire marshals keeping us safe.
