Chinese Snack
As it was Chinese New Year today we had a Chinese inspired snack time. The children got to taste noodles with the option of sweet and sour sauce, prawn crackers and Chinese sweets. They all seemed to really enjoy the change.

Today at nursery we celebrated Chinese New Year.

We have a new shed in the nursery for all our bikes and the children enjoyed the “official opening”!

Special Visitor
Today the boys and girls had a special treat as X Factor finalist Nicholas McDonald came to Cambusnethan for a surprise concert. The boys and girls all seemed to really enjoy it!!
Talking and Thinking
Today the boys and girls spent time exploring the contents of the “Talking and Thinking Tub”. They then shared what they knew about the items with the rest of the group. The theme today was all about holidays and travel.
Library Visits
We will begin our regular visits to Newmains Library next month. A different group will get the chance to go each week. As always we will be looking for parents/carers to come with the children. If you are able to help on a Monday morning or Thursday afternoon then let staff in the nursery know.
