Physical Education
The children have been learning a series of exercises associated with Bi-Lateral Integration. They have been trying out exercises such as ‘Touch and Lift’ and ‘Body Sequences’ during PE . They are picking it up really well and it’s great fun.
This Is Our Faith
The children have been learning about other world religions as part of the RE Programme. We have been exploring Judaism and they recently enjoyed finding out about important Jewish artefacts.
Swimming Certificates
I was very proud of my class when they recently received a certificate for taking part in the North Lanarkshire Schools Swimming Programme. Well done boys and girls.
Amazing Art
The children had great fun using paper mache and paint to create Viking helmets, weapons and shields. I’m sure you will agree that their designs look fantastic.
Viking Longship Competition
As part of our class topic on the Vikings we were learning about voyages and how they travelled. Everyone was given the opportunity to create their own longship as part of their homework. Mrs Rooney was over the moon as all the creations were fabulous! It was a very difficult decision to choose two winners but the lucky boys were Jack Cameron and Bartek Micolajczak. Well done to everyone who took part.
