Shelf Help and Wellbeing

We have a Shelf Help section in the library where you’ll find books  about issues that may make you anxious. You may borrow these books.

The library is a safe place for you to be before school and during lunchtimes. Whether you want to choose books, read with friends, attend a lunchtime club, complete homework or simply sit and relax there you’ll be made welcome.

We have clubs often run by senior pupils who are happy for you to chat to them about anything worrying you.

Trying to read a little each day is good for your wellbeing. This allows you to switch off from difficult situations for a while as well as make you relax and sleep better.
