Welcome to the blog of St Matthew’s Academy Library. Here you will find information about our library, reading recommendations and activities, research tips and useful websites.

Our librarian is Mrs McPhee. She looks forward to welcoming you to the library and helping you on your learning journey whilst at St Matthew’s. She is at St Matthew’s on Tuesdays, Fridays and alternate Wednesdays.

Unfortunately due the the redesign of the school library service Mrs McPhee will be leaving St Matthew’s in June. It is hoped that a library assistant will be in post for the start of term in August.

The library will be open at lunchtime on the days Mrs McPhee is in school. Those pupils attending clubs may bring their lunch.
