Dyslexia – What You Need to Know
What is Dyslexia?
Dyslexia is a learning difference. It means your brain reads, writes, and remembers words in a different way.
It does NOT mean you aren’t smart. Many people with dyslexia are great problem-solvers and creative thinkers.
How Might Dyslexia Feel?
You might notice:
-
Mixing up letters (like b/d)
-
Reading feels slow or tiring
-
Spelling is tricky
-
Forgetting steps or instructions
-
Finding it hard to copy from the board
-
Having great ideas but struggling to write them down
Everyone is different – these are just some examples.
