Eglinton Park Visit

The pupil’s in P5/6 and P6 had a fantastic time visiting Eglinton Park on Friday 3rd November.  The children had a great time with Ranger Joanne, finding out all about the Water Cycle.  The pupils’ shared their ideas about condensation, evaporation and precipitation and Joanne had some excellent activities for the children which involved working in teams – I think we can all agree that everyone’s competitive side came out!

The children then walked through the park searching for items on their Scavenger Hunt before heading to the play park for fun before going back to school.  We were very fortunate to have a lovely dry day and the children (well the majority of them) enjoyed squelching about in the mud in their wellies!

A big thank you to our parent helpers, Mrs McLaren and Mrs Campbell!

Have a look at some of our pictures!
