AWAY IN A MANGER
Away in a manger
No crib for His bed
The little Lord Jesus
Lay down His sweet head
The stars in the bright sky
Look down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus
Asleep on the hay
AWAY IN A MANGER(2ND Version)
Away in a manger
No crib for His bed
The little Lord Jesus
Lay down His sweet head
The stars in the bright sky
Look down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus
Asleep on the hay
The cattle are lowing
The Baby wakes
But little Lord Jesus
No crying He makes
I love Thee, Lord Jesus
Look down from the sky
And stay by my side
‘Til morning is nigh
DING DONG MERRILY ON HIGH
Ding dong merrily on high,
In heav’n the bells are ringing:
Ding dong! verily the sky
Is riv’n with angel singing
Gloria Hosanna in excelsis!
Gloria Hosanna in excelsis!
GOD REST YE MERRY GENTLEMAN
God rest ye merry gentlemen, let nothing you dismay
For Jesus Christ, our Savior was born on Christmas Day
To save us all from Satan’s powers when we were gone astray
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
DECK THE HALLS
Deck the hall with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la,
‘Tis the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la,
Don we now our gay apparel,
Fa la la, la la, la la la,
Sing the ancient Yuletide carol,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
WE THREE KINGS
We three kings of Orient are
Bearing gifts we traverse afar
Field and fountain, moor and mountain
Following yonder star
O Star of wonder, star of night
Star with royal beauty bright
Westward leading, still proceeding
Guide us to thy Perfect Light
Born a King on Bethlehem’s plain
Gold I bring to crown Him again
King forever, ceasing never
Over us all to rein
O Star of wonder, star of night
Star with royal beauty bright
Westward leading, still proceeding
Guide us to Thy perfect light
SILENT NIGHT
Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin, mother and child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace
IN THE STILLNESS OF THE NIGHT
In the stillness of the night, somewhere a baby cries;
In the stillness of the night, a child is born
In a stable cold and dark
And in a manger laid
Bringing hope to all the world
In the stillness of the night
In the stillness of the night, the shepherds tend their sheep;
In the stillness of the night, when all is calm
Then the heavens blaze with light
They hear the angels sing
Bringing joy to all the world
In the stillness of the night
HAVE YOURSELF A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Let your heart be light
Next year all our troubles will be out of sight
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Make the Yuletide gay
Next year all our troubles will be miles away
Once again as in olden days
Happy golden days of yore
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Will be near to us once more
Someday soon we all will be together,
If the fates allow
Until then, we’ll have to muddle through somehow
So have yourself a merry little Christmas now.
HERE COMES SANTA CLAUS
Here comes Santa Claus, Here comes Santa Claus right down Santa Claus Lane!
High in the sky you will see his reindeer are pulling on the rein
Bells are ringing, children singing, all is merry and bright
So hang your stockings and say your prayers ’cause Santa Claus comes tonight!
Here comes Santa Claus, Here comes Santa Claus right down Santa Claus Lane!
He’s got a bag that is filled with toys for the girls and boys again
Hear those sleigh bells jingle, jangle; What a beautiful sight!
Jump in bed, cover up your head,
Cause Santa Claus comes to night!!!!
WHITE CHRISTMAS
I’m dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow
I’m dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white
MR SANTA
Mr Santa, bring me some toys,
Bring Merry Christmas to all girls and boys
And every night I’ll go to sleep singing
And dream about the presents you’ll be bringing
Santa, promise me please
Give every reindeer a hug and a squeeze
I’ll be good as good can be
Mister Santa, don’t forget me!
RUDOLPH
Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it, you would even say it glows
All of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games
Then one foggy Christmas Eve, Santa came to say:
Rudolph with your nose so bright, won’t you guide mu sleigh tonight
Then how the reindeers loved him, as they shouted out with glee:
Rudolph the Red-nosed reindeer
You’ll go down in history
You’ll go down in history!!!!
JINGLE BELLS
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.
Dashing through the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh
O’er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob tail ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight!
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.
WINTER WONDERLAND
Sleigh bells ring
Are you listening
In the lane
Snow is glistening
A beautiful sight
We’re happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland
Gone away is the bluebird
Here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song
As we go along
Walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow we can build a snowman
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
He’ll say are you married?
We’ll say no man
But you can do the job
When you’re in town
Later on
We’ll conspire
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid
The plans that we’ve made
Walking in a winter wonderland
THE FIRST NOEL
The first Nowell the Angel did say
Was to three poor Shepherds in fields as they lay.
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep,
In a cold winter’s night that was so deep.
Chorus
Nowell, nowell, nowell, nowell.
Born is the King of Israel.
- They looked up and saw a star
Shining the East, beyond them far,
And to the earth it gave great light,
And so it continued, both day and night.
WHO WOULD IMAGINE A KING
Mommies and daddies always believe
That their little angels are special indeed
And you could grow up to be anything
But who would imagine a king
A shepherd or teacher is what you could be
Or maybe a fisherman out on the sea
Or maybe a carpenter building things
But who would imagine a king
It was so clear when the wise men arrived
And the angels were singing your name
That the world would be different ’cause you were alive
That’s what heaven stood still to proclaim
One day an angel said quietly
That soon he would bring something special to me
And of all those wonderful gifts he could bring
Who would imagine, who could imagine
Who would imagine a king
POLAR EXPRESS – BELIEVE
Children sleeping
Snow is softly falling
Dreams are calling
Likes bells in the distance
We were dreamers
Not so long ago
But one by one
We all had to grow up
When it seems the magic slipped away
We find it all again on Christmas Day
Believe in what your heart is saying
Hear the melody that’s playing
There’s no time to waste
There’s so much to celebrate
Believe in what you feel inside
And give your dreams the wings to fly
You have everything you need
If you just believe
Trains move quickly
To their journey’s end
Destinations
Are where we begin again
Ships go sailing
Far across the sea
Trusting starlight
To get where they need to be
When it seems that we have lost our way
We find ourselves again on Christmas Day
Believe in what your heart is saying
Hear the melody that’s playing
There’s no time to waste
There’s so much to celebrate
Believe in what you feel inside
And give your dreams the wings to fly
You have everything you need
If you just believe
SANTA CLAUS IS COMIN TO TOWN
You better watch out, you better not cry
Better not pout, I’m telling you why
Santa Claus is comin’ to town
He’s making a list and checking it twice
Gonna find out who’s naughty and nice
Santa Claus is comin’ to town
He sees you when you’re sleepin’
He knows when you’re a wake
He knows if you’ve been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake
Oh! You better watch out, you better not cry
Better not pout, I’m telling you why
Santa Claus is comin’ to town
