This term we are learning all about the Vikings. We will be learning about how the Vikings lived, the clothes they wore and the equipment they used in battle. The children will also experience an exciting workshop from History Comes Alive to see what Viking life was like.

As part of our Viking topic we have been learning about Viking shields. We created our own Viking shield designs using pattern and colour. We learned that Viking shields were made of wood and were sometimes almost a metre wide.
