This months challenge is to share our love of reading! Please find attached a copy of the reading challenge and all the details you need to know.
I can’t wait to see some pictures of you reading your favourite books.
This week I have sent home an updated list of sounds and high frequency words that we have been learning and practising in the class. Please continue to work through the sentence booklet at home and the phonics grid activities to practise writing and recognising sounds.
We have been working on addition and subtraction within 10 or 20 and trying a variety of strategies to get our answers. Please continue to work through the number booklet at home. I have also sent home a small booklet full of calculations that you might want to work through. If you can, use concrete material to help visualise each calculations. These could be things like crayons or pens, cubes, peas, toys or cups; Anything would work!
