Welcome to Primary 5B with Mrs Basnayake!
We have 21 learners in our class who are hardworking, lovely and respectful. Our class has a bee theme where we showcase our proudest achievements on our “work to be proud of” display. The view from our classroom is outstanding, we love to watch the boats come in and out. The library corner in our class is very cosy with a sofa, cushions and a soft rug. There you will find some resources to help you remain in the Green Zone. We are challenged and supported in our learning through problem solving and teamwork such as our Chilli Challenge in Numeracy and Wordle in Literacy. In Literacy, we enjoy reading together and discussing our favourite books. Our homework is given out on a Monday and has to be completed by Thursday. Our digital skills are improving and some of us even email Mrs Basnayake our homework. We do P.E on a Tuesday and a Thursday each week. For one P.E session per week we join in with our classmates in P5H.
