Welcome to Irvine Royal Academy’s Library  Blog. You’ll find information here about  library related events and activities, links to useful resources, book reviews and recommendations.

The library can be found on the ground floor of the school.

The librarian is Mrs McPhee. She looks forward to welcoming you  to the library and helping you along your learning journey. Mrs McPhee’s days at the school are Mondays, Thursdays and alternate Wednesdays.

Unfortunately due to the redesign of the school library service Mrs McPhee will be leaving Irvine Royal in June 2025. It is hoped that a library assistant will be appointed in time for the start of the new term in August.

The library is opened from 8.30am until 4pm (Mondays) and 8.30am until 4pm  (every 2nd Wednesday and Thursdays). The library is open at lunchtime.
