Welcome To Hayocks Primary & Early Years Classroom

Free Books for Schools!

Hayocks Primary will be taking part in  The Scottish Sun’s Free Books for Schools promotion!   All we have to do is collect 3,500 tokens from promotional copies of The Scottish Sun between 23rd September to 18th November 2018.  If we reach the target, we can claim a pack of 105 Collins Big Cat books, suitable for kids right through from P1 to P7, worth more than £550.   Spread the word – and get collecting!

Breakfast Club

Hayocks Primary School has a breakfast club, which runs from 8 – 8.45am every morning, and is free to all pupils at Hayocks Primary.   Forms to register for this club are available at the school office.  Last session we had over 50 attending each morning – a great way to start the school day!

Gym Kit

Please ensure your child has suitable PE kit in their schoolbag for gym lessons.  Shorts and indoor shoes should be worn, and  jewellery or earrings must be removed before entering the gym hall, for health and safety reasons.

All pupils have been issued with a new Lunch Menu for this session. The week beginning 3rd September will be Week 3 on the  menu.   Click here to see what’s on offer!

On the 31st January 2018, North Ayrshire Council is implementing a total smoke-free grounds approach across all of its schools.

This means that nobody, including staff, parents and visitors, should smoke or use a vaping device anywhere in the school grounds, including within vehicles  and at the school gates.

 Safe Playgrounds

Please remember that dogs are not allowed anywhere within the school grounds.  This is a North Ayrshire Council rule, and is there to ensure the safety of all children at Hayocks Primary & Early Years.
