Courses Taught
S1 will be focusing on our new and exciting course covering Digital Literacy and ICT Skills. Pupils will attend 1 period a week. Our new term will see pupils also attend Computing Science 1 period a week also.
S2 pupils come to our dept for Digital Literacy 2 periods a week. This covers Level 3 Computing Science, ICT and Business outcomes.
S3 will cover level 4 Computing Science and will attend 3 times a week.
S4 will progress in to National 4 or National 5 Computing Science. They will attend this subject 5 times a week.
Higher Computing Science is on offer at Senior Level. This is covered over 6 periods a week.
Cyber Security is offered to S3’s through DYW. They will have the opportunity to study Ethical Hacking, Digital Forensics and Data Security. This can lead on to Level 4 and Level 5 Cyber Security
