NPA Web Design – Level 5

What is Web Design?

Increasingly we are  accessing our information on electronic devices through the internet .  How the information is displayed and how we interact with and how we interact with the information is built on Web Design principles.  Web design is being able to visualise, design and create the pages we interact with every day on our phones, tablets laptops and TV’s etc using HTML, JavaScript and manipulating graphics.

There are few businesses today who do not have a web presence of some kind and for each of these businesses there is someone who understands Web Design — from the highly skilled company web designers, independent web design specialists to small companies needing some additional expertise, web design skills are much in demand.

Career options are huge but offers opportunities in:

Games Design, Retail, Sales and Marketing, local Government, Manufacturing, Finance Sector, Education. Creatives industries and many others.
