What is Travel and Tourism?
The Travel and Tourism course is an exciting pathway into not only the world of work but the world as a whole. Through working on real world case studies of the tourist industry in action candidates will gain a wide variety of skills that will help to prepare them for the world of work in a variety of sectors. Candidates will also gain a wide understanding of how their actions can impact the wider world.

- Literacy skills, including building writing for a professional and commercial audience
- Numeracy skills, including working on budgetary requirements, costing and ensuring effective time keeping

Travel and Tourism is a skills for work course which is in a unique position to develop key work place skills in all candidates.
These skills are not only delivered through classroom activities but through work with employers and through work place training such World Host.

School
Travel and Tourism is an ungraded course – there is no exam – and pupils will be assessed to pass internally.
College
