Formal assessments will also take place.

What might this help me with when I leave school?

Mathematics or Applications of Mathematics is an essential course to complete up to the end of S4.  It opens a vast range of opportunities and is, for many courses/apprenticeships/employers, and essential qualification to have.  Completing the S3 course provides opportunity for appropriate progression into an appropriate S4 course.
