The eclipse!

On Friday 20th March we were able to witness a special event – the Solar eclipse. The children had great fun watching it get darker and feeling the temperature drop, watching live eclipse action on the computer screen and because we were not able to directly view the sun due to cloud coverage, we were able to play outside during the eclipse aswell. A unique  and exciting experience for our children.

Easter Chicks

We were very lucky on the last day of term to have some very special visitors into the morning nursery session. Some newly hatched chicks were brought in by Hannah Eagle and the children were in awe by their size, their fluffiness and the noise they made, and they watched them walk around eating. Hannah was very good at answering the children’s (and the staff’s) questions about looking after chicks before and after they have hatched.
