Japan Open Day and Easter

We had an interesting and well supported open day last week, with activities including erupting volcanoes, chopsticks challenge, mapping skills, origami crafts and writing in Japanese. This week we have been busy with the Easter church service, Easter cards, Easter story and Easter crafts. We hope everyone has a lovely Easter holiday and we’re looking forward to our final term at Millbank.

Chemistry at Work

IMG_20151029_102507905Last week we visited the Chemistry roadshow and had a great time. We saw some magical chemical reactions,made a new brightening toothpaste and tested the colours in pens to catch a dognapper!

New Term

Welcome to the new school year.

This term we are learning about The Jacobites, if you have anything that relates to this we would love to hear from you. We will be swimming on Mondays for the next 6 weeks so please remember swim kit. Don’t forget the form for our residential trip to Ardonaig has to be in by Friday 28th August.

Buckie High

On Thursday 23rd April Primary 7 are visiting Buckie High School library as part of their transition programme. We will leave at approx 10.50am and return at 12.30pm.

Europe Open Morning

We had a very successful open morning on the last Thursday of term. Many thanks to all who came along. The children did a great job of  telling parents and friends all about the areas we have been learning about, including Longitude and Latitude, European Foods, Scale, Numbers in French and many more.
